Educating to Effect Societal Change It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Mummy’s Place Nursery & Primary School, where the children are at the heart of all that we do. We at Mummy’s Place believe that primary education is the most important phase of a child’s educational journey, as this is where the foundation for the rest of their academic journey is laid. It is therefore imperative that the experience of the children at this crucial phase be solid, fulfilling, and enjoyable. Over the past two-plus decades, we have witnessed a drastic decline in the quality of education in Nigeria, a rather disturbing rate of moral depravity in our society, even amongst the seemingly younger ones. Furthermore, the world we now live in places a lot of emphasis on self, such that we are beginning to notice a lot of self-centeredness, selfishness, and a lack of care for one another, which goes against the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hence, the major driving force in birthing Mummy’s Place School; to reverse the trend. We believe that the Nigerian child deserves quality education whilst still in their local environment that permits them to maintain their cultural values, and we are committed to providing such an environment. In these children, we see a future and a hope for a better tomorrow, and for this reason, we are dedicated to providing at Mummy’s Place Schools, world-class education in an environment of love, using the best possible resources at home and abroad to groom the next generation of leaders.
